Nosy Be Uncovered Itinerary

Welcome to Madagascar!

Day 1 – Madirokely

Welcome to Madagascar! Firstly, you arrive at Nosy Be airport, here  we welcome you and then private transfer to the Zahir hotel.
Once arrived, a friendly and attentive staff will welcome you. Meanwhile your luggage is unloaded from the minibus we may sip a typical drink by the pool.

After that, dinner based on the freshest fish and overnight in spacious bungalows furnished with lots of local handicrafts.

PS: Keep in mind that airline flights are not included in the package, so you can decide from which airport you leave, at what time and with the airline you prefer… This is to give you maximum freedom of choice!

Road to Nosy Komba

Day 2 – Nosy Komba

All in all, departure in the morning in the direction of Nosy komba.

At this time, by motor boat, we cross the few kilometres separating the island from Nosy be.

Once arrived, we reach a hotel run by locals in front of an idyllic beach. As soon as we put our bags down, we discover why this island is called the island of lemurs.

During the day, accompanied by a local guide, we discover the forest and small villages that exist on this small island.

On this occasion, dinner and overnight at Remo and Berenice. That is a small boutique hotel with very few bungalows on one of the most characteristic and beautiful coves on the island.

Towards Nosy Tanikely

Day 3 – Nosy Tanikely

At this point, we leave by boat from the hotel to visit the marine reserve of Nosy Tanikely. That is a small protected island which is home to exceptional marine fauna and flora. Not only turtles, stingrays and dolphins but also myriads of colourful fish and lots of coral.

Of course snorkelling is a must, as also it is a visit to the lighthouse that towers over the top of the island.

Then we return to Nosy komba in the afternoon to enjoy the splendid sunset on the jetty in front of the hotel.

Finally in Nosy Aranja

Day 4 and 5 – Nosy Iranja

Finally we are at the pearl of the Indian Ocean: Nosy Iranja

In detail, these are two separate islands connected by a long strip of white sand about 2 km long that disappears at high tide.

That is an exclusive place where very few have the opportunity to stay. Moreover, take advantage of the emerald lagoon where you can discover colonies of sea turtles and swim with them. We can also walk through the lush forest to the lighthouse at the top of the island. Once there, we can share moments of life with the fishermen who live there.

Without a doubt this island is a paradise on earth and the dream that everyone would like to fulfil.

Provided that, two days of absolute relaxation that you will remember for a lifetime.

Time for Morondava

Day 6 and 7 – Nosy Sakatia

Lastly, we leave Nosy Iranja to reach the island of orchids: Nosy Sakatia.

Specifically, incredible coral reefs this island surround the island that is home to protected flora and fauna. What’s more, it has three small villages where fishing and farming are the main activities.

Moreover, this is the ideal place to go snorkelling or diving. That is to watch the turtles that come here to lay their eggs. Another point is to go into the forest to discover incredible flora.

Otherwise you can also relax at the hotel’s Spa with essential oil massages by talented masseuses.

To conclude, we stay two nights at the beautiful Sakatia Lodge. That is a tiny hotel on a coral-protected beach that will welcome you and pamper you in close contact with nature.

Goodbye Madagascar!

Day 8 – Time to Say Goodbye

We come to the end of such an incredible journey! Lastly, we return to Nosy Be for your intercontinental flight.

Surely the moment of saying goodbye will leave everyone with a little bitterness in their mouths. However, we will send you home with lasting memories, in the hope of seeing you again in the future for a new adventure with MyMadagascar!
